Translation Workflow

Our philosophy is that adequate people, processes, and resources will ensure accurate translations of the highest quality. Our project managers have over 10 years’ experience and expertise in all language, major areas and disciplines. They are highly trained in assessing translation teams and providing services without equal to our customers. Our network of translators is made up of qualified professional translators who are rigorously tested and trained to provide the highest quality translations. While the project goes through the stages of translation, editing and formatting, you can be sure that we will manage every detail of your project. The end result will be a product of the highest quality, delivered on time and within your budget limits.

  1. Request: Valley Translation Services receives requests from clients, typically via email, phone or web page
  2. Sending the file: The client sends the documents to our office with a PO and instructions via email / ftp.
  3. Evaluation: Valley Translation Services evaluates each project using the following criteria: Target Language / Audience, Objectives, Deadline. At this point, all client's aspects and particular requests are analysed and discussed together with the client.
  4. Planning: The project manager deals with the planning and assigns an appropriate amount of time for each stage of completion. At this stage, a team of specialized translators, proofreaders and project QA is gathered.
  5. Terms glossary (optional): A glossary is created to ensure consistency of terminology, so translations complete one another and are consistent throughout the all the period you decide to collaborate with our company.
  6. Translation: A certified translator translates the source document. Translators are native speakers of the target language with minimum 5 years of experience. All our consultants are bilingual and have a level of knowledge and / or training at famous institutions, in addition to being familiar with terminology specific to your industry.
  7. Proofreading: After completing the initial translation, it is then reviewed by the team of professional linguists of Valley Translation Services. The translation is edited and corrected in terms of grammar and syntactical accuracy, style correspondence and eventual omissions. Both proofreaders and translators are professional linguists, native in the target language, with extensive experience in the translated subjects.
  8. Internal Quality Assurance: QA specialists approve the document in terms of quality.
  9. The graphical processing of the document (DTP): DTP specialists format the translated material in order to match the layout of the original document, unless otherwise specified by the client.
  10. The final check by the project manager: The project manager eventually checks the files in order to ensure their deliverability based on customer's requirements and their correct format.
  11. The final delivery to the customer: The translated and formatted document is now sent to the customer via email, ftp or other delivery format (by snail mail or personal delivery)
  12. Sending feedback: The project manager shall ensure that the customer is satisfied with our product and that the customer always comes back to our services.
